Legibility

Unlike the notes in your traditional paper records, physician office notes are either dictated or transcribed into our EMR system. This makes the medical record notes neat and easy to understand. The "Orders" feature in our EMR allows physicians to generate prescriptions for medication, diagnostic studies, DME, orthotics, therapy and any other required services electronically.

Accessibility by Multiple Users Simultaneously

Coordinating care for our patients is simplified with this functionality. Physicians in our office are able to review diagnostic studies and images at the same time, even if in different locations inside and outside of the office. This is a helpful tool with problem-solving and training.

User Restricted Access

The privacy of your health information is a top priority at OAUSA. We ensure that access to your information is subjected to what is minimally necessary even within our staff. Every person with access to your medical records is assigned a username and password with certain rights which permits access to only certain parts of the medical record based on job duties in the practice.

Tasking

This function is utilized for messaging and general tasks. It is employed by every department in each location of the practice. When used for messaging it allows the physician access to notes in the medical record easily if needed with just a click of a button.

Data Importing

Our EMR easily allows us to transform information received on paper into electronic format and import into our EMR system. Such as referrals, consultation reports, diagnostic studies, and more. It also allows us to import electronic images from other systems into our own for viewing.

With multiple ways to locate patient records, delays in care due to misplaced or lost records are eliminated with the EMR and all information is real-time which means once entered into the system, all with access are able to use immediately. This save our patients time and maximizes our efficiency.
